Making his first appearance across the pages of Mass Music Radio today is Abington based rapper/producer, Jake Morse, with "Life Is Good". Recruiting both alé and Najee Janey to bring this release to its final form, "Life Is Good" is an uplifting track that perfectly aligns with the clear skies prevalent in Massachusetts on this beautiful Friday.
Initially beginning his journey in music as a beatmaker in 2010, Jake Morse's discography has both grown, and shrunk, in size. Following a rebrand in 2015, the Massachusetts native has unleashed a variety of singles and EP's, all of which have provided listeners with a crisp understanding of Morse's multifaceted creative capabilities. "Life Is Good" is only the latest drop to reinforce these sentiments.
Rounding out this release are fellow Bay State representatives, alé and Najee Janey, who were respectively tasked with constructing the hook and a verse on "Life Is Good". Najee Janey is someone whose music has been featured on both our blog and radio stream in the past, as the Boston native routinely captivates with his well-developed raps. Though this is my first introduction to alé's music, I'm certain it will not be the last time that we are hearing from her. The distinctive sound that she possesses is something that I am sure will carry her name far beyond the borders of this state, and the local music scene prevalent within it.
