When reflecting on music in Massachusetts, Millyz is typically one of the first names that comes to mind. The Cambridge native has assumed somewhat of an ambassadorship with respect to representing the music scene here, bringing as many Bay State rappers along the way as he possibly can. Today, he makes his way onto the airwaves of Mass Music Radio with the official music video for "Emotions" featuring G Herbo. Featuring two well-executed verses from both Millyz and G Herbo that circulate around past struggles, determination, and the relentless grind, "Emotions" puts both of these rappers' skill sets on a pedestal. Rapping is somewhat of an innate ability to this pair of creatives, something which they can do both routinely and effortlessly. Their respective discographies have grown at an exponential rate, and each trip to the booth results in expansive growth for their individual artistries. Though Millyz has delivered an abundance of high quality tracks this year, it's safe to say that "Emotions" rests as one of the more potent drops from this Massachusetts native in 2021. As is usually the case with his videos, Millyz once again tapped in Dom Bruno (@shotbytanj) to bring this visual to life. Shoutout to Dom for injecting entirely new life into his music. What better way to celebrate one's birthday than by dropping new music? This is the mindset that Brockton native Luke Bar$ is in possession of, as the Van Buren Records member blesses his listeners with a new single titled "Lil Brasi Freestyle II". Repurposing the Pharrell-produced beat for Clipse's "Mr. Me Too" with fine-tuned precision, "Lil Brasi Freestyle II" serves as a 132 second display of Luke Bar$' strengthened ability to rap. He's routinely let his music do the talking, and as VB continues to grow their fanbase from the recent success of Bad For Press, more and more music fans from across the globe are beginning to turn their attention towards what is unfolding currently in Brockton, Massachusetts. Quite literally turning his dreams into reality with each forthcoming drop, Luke Bar$ should serve as an inspiration for anyone who wants to succeed doing what they love. Whatever it is, just do it to the best of your abilities. Luke Bar$ is living proof that it will eventually pay off. Watch the official music video for "Lil Brasi Freestyle" below:

Hailing from Ipswich, Massachusetts is Bouvé, a North Shore representative who's lively energy has resulted in the formulation of a well-strengthened discography. He recently teamed up with Lowell's Lil Rich to deliver a fine-tuned track titled "Boats". Since spending an immense amount of time in Los Angeles together, both Bouvé and Lil Rich have grown to become an inseparable duo that hits the mark each and every time they enter the studio. Both representing the same side of Massachusetts, these two creatives have exceeded all expectations, continuously providing hit after hit for fans of their music. "Boats", personally speaking, has ultimately become my favorite track of theirs so far, managing to be a summer-bop that simultaneously showcases their high-tier ability to craft great music. Equipped with scenic shots of the North Shore coastline, White Claws, and fast-moving boats darting atop the Atlantic Ocean, this visual is one of the best thus far in 2021. Bouvé is a carefree, easygoing individual, with this release showcasing these aspects of his personality with true precision. Compliments to both Luke Kaneb and John Rawl of After Pangea for putting their best foot forward and truly succeeding here. Watch the official music video for "Boats" below:
