Jack Karowak is the perfect example of someone who lets the music do the talking. Finally releasing some new music since 2020's The Myth of the Mechanical Universe, "Free" serves as the latest high-quality release from this Plymouth native.
This self-observing song deals with the question of "Am I on the right path in life?". There's no question that Jack has been working ridiculously hard towards the curation of a brilliant discography, however, it seems as though the doors haven't been opening up for him as naturally as he would like. Unsure of whether or not his music will truly ever open these doors for him, Karowak states that he's "staring at the blank abyss, dancing on a sinking ship". Though he's attracted many supporters from across the world, he's not going to rest until he achieves the feeling of satisfaction that he's currently in absence of.
Following a lengthy stay in Los Angeles this past month, Jack Karowak has been busy working alongside Brad Feeney, David Walker, and many creatives from the Massachusetts area who also found themselves out west at the same time as Jack. Despite feeling unsure of the direction he's moving in at times, this hasn't deterred his work ethic whatsoever. He's routinely added hit after hit to his catalog of music, and I'm truly excited to hear what this future star has been working on.
