West London's Rosa Cecilia is gearing up for the release of her upcoming EP, as the second single off of this project, "Passers-By", has officially been released.
Combining elements from neo-soul, jazz, and R&B music, Rosa Cecilia's catalog of music is already of an incredibly high standard, though it is comprised of solely two singles up through this point in time. "Passers-By" is a wonderfully arranged single - one that touches upon the stigmas that come associated with Interracial and LGBTQ+ couples in the public realm. Rosa Cecilia has frequently used her social media platform to speak on issues revolving around race, gender, and sexuality, and has never once shyed away from putting her beliefs on full-display. The crossover that her message makes into her discography is something that helps make her music so profound, and is also something that floods me with excitement with respect to the release of her debut body of work.
"Paradise" was actually the first single to be released off of this album, also serving as a perfect example of Rosa Cecilia's capabilities. The work she does truly stands for something larger than herself, and I am really looking forward to seeing what this young british artist is going to accomplish with time.
