May 20th is already chalked up to be an amazing day, as rising Boston artist, Caev, will deliver his first EP in more than three years - BrokeAndTalented. Today, he appears on Mass Music Radio's blog with the project's debut single "Fuck How They Feel". Accompanied by an official music video at the hands of Jake Yasi (JY Filmz), Caev is gearing up to make an impact with this upcoming tape.
Already releasing a long list of singles and videos throughout this year, Caev has really done an exceptional job with respect to curating his catalog. Each forthcoming addition is brilliant, as the Boston native routinely showcases his multi-faceted artistry. The combination of his vocal presence, lyrical prowess, and true authenticity make for a brilliant concoction, and this is something that I truly believe will carry Caev to great heights as his career continues to blossom and unfold.
Tasked with the production of this song were the SuperSmashBroz - a duo of brothers from Boston that have truly served as ambassadors for the local music scene. Not only were they apart of the Boston Red Sox's Nike City Connect Campaign last month, but they've diligently amassed a tremendous production catalog that has given the pair global recognition. I'm thrilled to see that they teamed up with Caev for this release, as they're some of the best creatives that the city has to offer right now. Massachusetts is truly an incredible place to be with respect to the music scene, and I for one am thrilled that we have Caev and the SuperSmashBroz to push all of us forward in the right direction.
