J Wavy is a promising young artist from Chelsea, Massachusetts who has consistently dropped off a continuous stream of well-developed music. Today, he graces the pages of Mass Music Radio's blog with the official music video for his recent single "Interlude".
First making a name for himself with offerings such as "New Me", "Slide Thru", and "Bag Talk", J Wavy's unique artistry is something that has been prevalent since the foundations of his discography were established. "New Me", which received a visual treatment at the hands of Massachusetts videographer Tanj, served as the first piece of work by J Wavy that I had heard, crafting a melodic hit with seeming ease. Fast forward to now, J Wavy has gone on to attract a wide array of supporters, all of which are constantly hungry for new music from the Chelsea native.
"Interlude" is a three minute offering that circulates around relationship turmoils. J Wavy is really getting to a point within his musical development where his lyrical capabilities are on par with his sonics, and as he continues to work on his craft, it's as though he unlocks all-new levels of accomplishment.
Interjecting theatrical elements into this track's aurora is Fitztherunaway, who was tasked with directing this song's music video. The best visuals are the ones which develop an entirely new layer of meaning surrounding the music, and this is something that Fitztherunaway did with expert precision.
