When the topic of music in Massachusetts arises, Trottie Y Gizzle is a name that must be included within the conversation each and every time. His music has grown to become representative of our region's drill scene, with individuals from both near and far flocking to his YouTube page for each of his forthcoming releases.

"When I Die" is the latest addition to his discography – one that centers itself around Trottie Y Gizzle's thoughts surrounding the mark that he'll leave when he passes. We've seen a vast amount of deaths within the spectrum of Hip-Hop and Rap music over the years, something which largely stems from the street life that is often placed at the forefront of these genres. Y Gizzle is no stranger to this, as he's had his fair share of run-ins with the Boston Police Department. Regardless of their attempts to hold him back, Trottie Y Gizzle has continued to strive towards greatness, speaking on behalf of those whose voices are often deemed as not important. As 2021 pushes forward, this Jamaica Plain native has only grown more focused with his music.
