BOSTON'S DELLY AND PIMP LINK UP ON "AHH AHH"

Whenever new artists from Boston are featured on Mass Music Radio's Blog it quite literally makes the entirety of the day feel like a holiday. With that being said, we have reason to celebrate, as both Delly and PimpDaddyDane make their first appearance across our airwaves today with "Ahh Ahh". 

​While Pimp is someone who I've been familiar with for a minute now, Delly is an artist who's just making his way onto my radar for the first time. This high-energy offering is one that'll surely be making its rounds throughout the city of Boston this Summer, as both Delly and Pimp trade some truly excellent verses. Both of these artists are in possession of a strong presence over the underlying instrumental, something which ultimately fills me with excitement for how each of their respective catalogs will develop with time. 

PimpDaddyDane personifies the ongoing change in identity that circulates the music scene in Boston, MA. While the scene has largely been dominated by men over the last couple of decades, it seems as though we are currently seeing a takeover by women of color, providing an entirely different example of what life is like here. I, for one, am thrilled to be able to see this change in real time, and am incredibly excited for what is next to come out of this city in terms of music.
